Fox News publicly rebuked Jeanine Pirro, one of its own high-profile hosts, for her bigoted remarks about Rep. Ilhan Omar and, by extension, all other Muslim-Americans. “Think about it: Omar wears a hijab,” Pirro recently said on her Fox News show. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”
In her own defense, Pirro then went the “just asking a question” route. Her Fox News overlords saw through that. “We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro's comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” the network said in a statement. “They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”
Great! Good start with the condemning of awful things said by the awful human beings who work for you! How about doing Tucker Carlson's grotesque misogyny and rape apologism next?
