The coronavirus has prompted the cancellation of in-person voting today in Ohio, but primaries are still continuing in Arizona, Florida, and Illinois. Voters are casting ballots in the Democratic presidential primary in all three states, and they’re also picking nominees for downballot offices in Illinois.

The AP, NBC, CNN, and ABC have all called the Florida Democratic primary for Joe Biden. With 62% of precincts reporting, Biden currently leads Bernie Sanders 61-23, with Mike Bloomberg at 9.
Polls have also closed in Illinois; no votes have reported there yet, though. In addition to the presidential primary, we’ll also be keeping an eye on Democratic primaries in IL-03 (the big Dan Lipinski vs. Marie Newman showdown) and IL-07 (where incumbent Danny Davis faces multiple opponents), and Republican primaries in IL-14 (to see who goes up against Democratic freshman Lauren Underwood) and IL-15 (a dark red open seat vacated by John Shimkus).
There are 40 precincts in Cook County, Illinois, that will remain open until 8 pm local time (i.e. forty minutes from now), because they opened late or got consolidated with other precincts. (There are some Illinois votes trickling in now, but less than 1% of the expected total.)
