Aaaaaand we’re off and running on a delegate-rich night in the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination. And we have our first call, though it was an expected one: Mississippi has been called for former VP Joe Biden. Meanwhile, networks are declaring that Joe Biden “is in the lead” in Missouri, though only the Associated Press has elected to make a call there.

Missouri: NBC joins AP in making their call in the presidential primary, meaning that Joe Biden has his second victory of the night.

We are also seeing scant returns from Michigan, which is undoubtedly the biggest race of the evening, given that Sanders won it in an upset in 2016, and he needs to gain ground with delegates here to offset the losses he will likely to suffer in “the other M’s” of Missouri and Mississippi.
